According to Yang Gong’s (Yang Jiu Ping) grandson, named Yang Nuo Qing that Classics Yu Han Jing was first, originated from 
Jiu Tian Xian Nv，then to Huang Se Gong, from Huang to Zhang Yu Fang….then to Guo Pu where he based on that to write his Classics Zang Shu, then to Ying Gong……when Emperor Xuan Zhong came to know the powers and mistery of Classics Yu Han Jing because Ying Gong made people rich, noble, long-life, government positions and children with the Classics Yu Han Jing in his Yin Yang Zhai audits and practice, the Emperor Xuan
Zhong ordered the Classics Yu Han Jing to be kept in the Palace, only for the royal use until Yang Gong’s times where Yang Gong ran away with the Classics Yu Han Jing during the wars.
The 1st Ring – Tian Chi
In this case, our Luopan has a number of 12 Rings arranged around the Central Needle Well called “Tian Chi”. The so-called “Tian Chi” is made up of a Central Well full of water floating the Central Needle to indicate direction for other Rings around it. Once the magnetic direction is established, the other 12 Rings will have their respective fuctions in Yang Gong Fengshui.
The Ancient Chinese named it as “Tian” because the Heaven (Tian) is above us to determine our Destiny and also named it as “Chi” because it looks like a Well (Chi). That is how the current name of “Tian Chi” has come about.

The 2nd Ring – Early Heaven Ba Gua and Late Heaven Ba Gua.
The Early Heaven Ba Gua: Qian 1, Dui 2, Li 3, Zhen 4, Xun 5, Kan 6, Gen 7 and Kun 8.
The Late Heaven Ba Gua:
The Late Heaven Ba Gua: is actually our LouShu, where Kan Gua is One, Kun Gua is Two, Zhen Gua is Three, Shun Gua is Four, the Centre is Five, Qian Gua is Six, Dui Gua is Seven, Gen Gua is Eight while Li Gua is Nine.
The 3rd Ring – Ba Sha
The Ba Sha is concerned with the Sitting Position of any Mountain in regards to the In-coming Waters in terms of Auspiciousness, but it has got nothing to do with the Facing. The Ba Sha discusses its Auspiciousness with 5 Elements:
Kan Long Kun Tu shakes the Mountain Monkey,
The Xun Chicken Qian Horse Dui Snake’s head,
The Gen Tiger Li Pig are the Ba Sha,
The Yin Yang Zhai meets any of them will be bad.

However, our Yang Gong Gu Fa refers Ba Sha as the Mu and Jie Sectors for 4 Formation of Metal, Wood, Water and Fire, there are 8 of them altogether, thus there are known as Ba Sha.
The 4th Ring – Tian Gan Huang Qian
Geng Ding Kun are Huang Qian,
Kun sees Geng Ding not to be possible,
Xun does not like to occupy Yi Bing,
Yi Bing must avoid the Xun Water exits,
Qian does not want to see Xin and Ren Water,
Xin and Ren does not want to exit Qian,
Jia Gui’d Facing does not want to see Gen,
Gen’s Watergate does not want to see Jia Gui.
Yang Gong Gu Fa’s Four Internal Dragon Formations:“Tou Nu Na Ding Jia Zhi Qi”, “Jin Yang Shou Gui Jia Zhi Ling”, “Yi Bing Jiao er Qu Xu”, “Xin Ren Hui er Ju Chen” are of actually “Metal, Wood, Water and Fire Four Formations, ofwhich the Geng Ding Kun are Huang Qian refers to Tou Nu Na Ding Jia Zhi Qi” of Metal Formation that: Water exits from Watergate Kun Shen is Chong Lin Guan, causing the Death of Descendents of between aged 35 to 45 years old.
However, in Yang Gong Fengshui Gu Fa the Huang Qian Waters refer to the Death Water of 4 Formations for Metal, Wood, Water and Fire where the Death Water Crossing Ming Tang of 4 Formations is the 4 Huang Qian Waters Crossing Ming Tang.
The 5th Ring – 24 Mountains of Di Pan (Earth Plate)
The 24 Mountains of Di Pan (Earth Plate) are found in the Inner(nei pan) Plate of Yang Gong Luopan.
The 8 Gan and 4 Wei assist the 12 DiZi in order to equip Tian Di (Heaven and Earth) Qi where it is a Gan or a Wei to assist 2 DiZi，combining as 24 Mountains as per <<Tian Yu Jing>>.
The application of 24 Mountains of DiPan：the Zhen Needle is the Main Needle of Luopan to “Ge Long Cheng Qi”, meaning to audit the In-coming Dragon and ride the Dragon Qi while to “Zuo Shan Li Xiang”, meaning to locate the Dragon’s Xue and set the Facing.
The 6th Ring – 72 Dragons
Yang Gong created 72 Dragons after a long process of practice and proof in Ganzhou, he thought that the 12 Zi Qi of each Zi Qi has contained the objective view of 5 Elements: Metal, Wood, Water and Fire, the total of these Dragons are 60 Dragons plus the 12 Kong Wang Dragons middle of Gan and Wei to add up 72 Dragons altogether.
72 Dragons are the creation of Yang Gong under the 12 DiZi which works for 12 Zi Qi. The , 72 Dragons are used to audit the Host Dragon and to locate the Dragon’s Xue in order to ride the Internal Qi, the following Chart is to teach us . 72 Dragons’ shorthand methods.
The 7th Ring –– Chong Needle of Human Plate (Ren Pan)
The Human Plate (Ren Pan) of 24 Mountains and 28 (Shu) Lunar Mansions 5 Elements of the Zhong (Centre) Needle 24 Mountains was invented by Yang Gong for a different purpose than that of Lai Wen Jun of Song Dynasty, where Lai Bu Yi invented his own theory to regard the Centre Needle’s position is the Polar Star Position where the Zi Mountain of the Human Plate is the North Star because the North Star is the Needle North. The Centre (Zhong) Needle is located at Zhen Needle’s right side, differs 7.5 degrees from the Zi Mountain of DiPan (Earth Plate) while the Feng (Seam) Needle of Human Plate is located at the Zhen (Correct) Needle’s left side of the DiPan (Earth Plate), differs 15 degrees with Zhong (Centre) Needle.
The Centre Needle of Twenty-eight Lunar Mansions Five Elements: Jia, Geng, Bing, Ren, Zi, Wu, Mao and You are of Fire; Yin, Shen, Si and Hai are of Water; Chen, Xu, Chuo and Wei are of Metal; Qian, Kun, Gen and Shun are of Wood.

The 8th Ring – 60 Jia Zi Dragon Tou Di
Each of the 60 Dragons occupies 6 degrees by sidereal revolution 360 degrees while each of the 72 Dragons occupies 5 degrees.
The invention of 60 Dragons came later period in older times of Yang Gong where the Tou Di Long is another name for 60 Dragons because Yang Gong thought that it is more accurate than that of 72 Dragon to audit the in-coming Dragon Qi because the in-coming Dragon Qi is affected by the Moon.
The 9th Ring – Feng (Seam) Needle of 24 Mountains (Tian Pan)
Yang Gong (Yang Jiu Ping) invented his Yang Gong Fengshui by using his Tian Pan (Heavenly Plate) thoery of Double Mountain 5 Elements that remains the most complete theory of its own for the whole history of Chinese Fengshui; systematically including the knowledge of the Heaven, Earth and the Manhood. The knowledge of Double Mountain 5 Elements used in Tian Pan to practise YGFS becomes one of the important theories, like others such as 72 Dragons and many others which makes YGFS to become the Top Fengshui Pai than of other Fengshui Pai, never and ever any Fengshui Masters in the past and the present, to out-doing Yang Gong’s acheivement! Therefore, it is worth the while to learn, research and practise our Tian Pan of Double Mountain 5 Elements.
Without the Invention of Tian Pan and Double Mountain 5 Elements by Yang Gong, with the invention of 72 Dragons and others, we can not practise YGFS. To understand what is Double Mountain 5 Elements, we must first understand how HeTu, Luoshu, Early heaven Ba Gua and Late Heaven Ba Gua work to incorporate the Theory of Double Mountain 5 Elements!
The Early Heaven Ba Gua comes from HeTu, where One and Six gives birth to Water Element, Two and Seven gives birth to Fire Element, Three and Eight gives birth to Wood Element, Four and Nine gives birth to Metal Element while 5 and 10 gives birth to Earth Element. Then Hai and Zi Branches are Water Element, Yin and Mao Branches are Wood Element, Si and Wu Branches are Fire Element, Shen and You Branches are Metal Element while Chen and Xu Branches are Earth Element. Water Element is in the North, Wood Element in the East, Fire Element is in the South, Metal Element is in the West while Earth Element is in the Centre.
Late Heaven Ba Gua comes from Luoshu, Kan Gua is One, Kun Gua is Two, Zhen Gua is Three, Shun Gua is Four, the Centre is Five, Qian Gua is Six, Dui Gua is Seven, Gen Gua is Eight while Li Gua is Nine. Then we take the 12 Earth Branches from HeTu: Zi, Chou, Yin, Mao, Chen, Si, Wu, Wei, Shen, You, Xu and Hai Branches, to place them accordingly clock-wise from the North. From Late Heaven Gua Na Jia: Qian Na Jia Ren, Kun Na Yi Kui, Gen Na Bing, Shun Na Xin, Zhen Na Geng, Kan Na Wu, Li Na Ji and Dui Na Ding, then we use 10 Tian Gan (Heavenly Stems) to complete the Positions, where Jia Yi in the East, Bing Ding in the South, Geng Xin in the West, Ren Kui in the North, the remaining Centre Position of Wu Ji to be excluded as we are using only Eight Heavenly Stems.
Yin Shen Si Hai 4 Earthly Branches are the 4 Chang Sheng Gua to match with the 4 Wei Gua of Qian Shun Kun Gen to make up of Double Maountain of Qian Hai, Gen Yin, Shun Si and Kun Shen respectively. Then to use HeTu Early heaven Gua as the Heaven, and to se Luoshu Late Heaven Gua as the Earth and lastly to complete with the 4 wei Gua of Qian Shun Kun Gen to connect the earth to the heaven which have included the theories and Qi of HeTu, Luoshu to the Early Heaven Ba Gua and the Late Heaven Ba Gua consisting beings of the Heaven and the Earth in regards to the Manhood.
Now finally comes the explanations of Double Mountains 5 Element, before was the background theories analysed. It is the Ba Gua of 12 Sectors such as the Qian Hai Sector, Ren Zi Sector, Kui Chou Sector, Gen Yin Sector, Jia Mao Sector, Yi Chen Sector, Shun Si Sector, Bing Wu Sector, Ding Wei Sector, Kun Shen Sector, Geng You Sector and Xin Xu Sector of 12 Sectors. Ofwhich the combinations of Tian Gan (Heavenly Stems) are Ren Zi Sector, Kui Chou Sector, Jia Mao Sector, Yi Che Sector, Bing Wu Sector, Ding Wei Sector, Geng You Sector Xin Xu Sector of 8 sectors while the Combinations of 4 Wei Gua with Earthly Branches are the Qian Hai Sector, Kun Shen Sector, Gen Yin Sector and Shun Si Sector.
These Double Mountains 5 Elements include the Early Heaven Qi, Late Heaven Qi and 5 Elements Qi as follows:-
1. Kun Shen, Ren Zi and Yi Chen Sectors are of Water Element which is known as Water Formation in YGFS.
2. Qian Hai, Jia Mao and Ding Wei Sectors are of Wood Element which is known as Wood Formation in YGFS.
3. Shun Si, Geng You and Kui Chou are of metal Element which is known as Metal Formation in YGFS.
4. Gen Yin, Bing Wu and Xin Xu Sectors are of Fire Element which is known as Fire Formation in YGFS.
The above-mentioned 4 Formations are of 4 different systems of 5 Elements which has its owns complete system of theory, which is known as the 4 Chang Sheng Theory in YGFS; which is the life cycle of the Heaven, the Earth and the manhood where all the things in the Heaven, Earth and Human has its own timing of from the life cycle of the Chang Sheng, Diwang and the Mu Sectors respectively.
Yang Gong Stated: « YGFS is of the same Family, 3 Combination comes from the same Qi » because Qian Metal Qi gives rise to Hai Water Qi as Qian Hai Sector, Shun Wood Qi gives rise to Si Fire Qi as Shun Si Sector, Kun Earth Qi gives rise to Shen Metal Qi as Kun Shen Sector, and finally Ding Fire Qi gives rise to Wei earth Qi as Ding Wei Sector; which bases on the Mothers and the Sons relationship.
While Ren Zi Sector are of the Same Water Qi, Jia Mao Sector both Wood Qi, Bing Wu Sector both of Fire Qi and lastly Geng You Sector are of Metal Qi which conclude as the Brothers and Sisters Relationship of the same family.
Lastly, the Hai Water gives rise to Jia Wood, Jia Wood gives rise to Ding Fire, Shen Metal gives rise to Zi Water, are of the Grandfather and the Grandsons relationship.
The Feng Needle of Tian Pan (Heaven Plate) is also known as Wai Pan.
The so-called, same Sector (Palace) is the Double Mountains of Heaven Plate (Tian Pan) such as Ren and Zi Mountains of Heaven Plate same sector with the Zi Qi of 12 Zi Qi; Gui and Chou Mountains of Heaven Plate same sector with the Chou Qi of 12 Zi Qi and Gen and Yin Mountains of Heaven Plate same sector Yin Qi of 12 Zi Qi…… respectively.
The application for Feng Needle of Tian Pan (Heaven Plate) is to serve for 72 Dragons, the Feng Needle is to audit External Qi while the 72 Dragons to audit Internal Qi, the Double Mountains of Tian Pan to be used to accumulate External Qi to affect the Internal Qi as per <<Zang Shu>> which is to audit the Mountains and Waters Qi to accumulate the Ming Tang Qi to affect the Internal Qi of the Dragon to gain auspiciousness.
The 10th Ring – Feng Needle 240 Feng Jing
The Feng Needle of 240 Feng Jing divides Feng Jing according to the 24 Mountains of Tian Pan, each Mountain divides into the 10 points (Feng Jing), 24 Mountains will have the total 240 points.
The 10 points of Gan Wei for the Feng Needle is the 5 points of Zhen Needle and 5 points of Initial Qi for 12 Zi Qi.
The 5 points of DiZi for the Feng Needle’s Initial Qi is the Wang Qi of 12 Zi Qi and 10 points of Zhen Needle’s DiZi. The 5 points of DiZi for the Feng Needle’s Finishing Qi is the Finishing Qi of 12 Zi Qi and 10 points of Zhen Needle’s Gan Wei.
This Ring is very much theorically based to explain how Yang Gong harmonizes The Earth (72 Dragons of Dragon Qi) to Huaman (Ren Pan of Huaman Qi) with the Heaven (Tian Pan of Surrounding Environment Qi) by using the 3&7 Fenjing and 3&8 Fenjing of 240 Fenjing.
The 11th Ring of 12 Zi Qi
The 11th Ring of 12 Zi Qi was invented by Tian Huang Xi which was much early than Xian Tian Ba Gua invented by Fu Yi Xi, hence the creation of Xian Tian 12 Zi was before the Xian Tian Ba Gua.
The 12th Ring – : 60 Jia Zi Contraction and Expansion of 60 Dragon 5 Elements
Each of the Contraction and Expansion of 60 Dragons occupies different degrees by sidereal revolution 360 degrees while each of the 60 Dragons occupies 6 degrees compared to 5 degrees of 72 dragons.
The invention of Contraction and Expansion of 60 Dragons attaching to Tian Pan than Ren Pan such as the 60 Dragons at the later stage of Yang Gong because Yang Gong thought that it is more accurate than that of 60 Dragons because the Dragons come from the Heaven and go into the Earth.
Each of the 60 Dragons occupies 6 degrees by sidereal revolution 360 degrees while each of the 72 Dragons occupies 5 degrees.

The 13th Ring – 28 Xing Shu (Constellation Stars) of 360 Degrees and 28 Xing Shu Degree 5 Elements
The invention of 28 Constellation Stars came later period in older times of Yang Gong because Yang Gong thought that it is more accurate than that of Tian Pan which is effected by the Sun because above the Sun there are 28 Constellation Stars..
The 14th Ring – : Sidereal Revolution 360 Degree
We may confirm the accuracy of Yang Gong Gu Fa Fengshui with high tech’s methods to audit Yin Yang Zhai by matching the positions of the 12 Ring in regards to the watergates ,In-coming Dragon Crossig Ming Tang Waters ,etc reflected by the GPS or Map Compass.
